Why people stay at Worthamence
Four things our team members name most often when asked what keeps them here.
Remote-first, Melbourne-anchored
Most roles can be worked fully remotely from anywhere in Australia, with our Collins Street office in Melbourne available for collaboration days, client meetings and workshops when you want them.
Continuous growth
A personal development budget, internal knowledge sessions every fortnight and a clear progression path. The markets change constantly, and so do the skills we invest in.
Sane hours, real leave
Full-time roles with flexible start and finish times, four weeks of paid annual leave plus public holidays, and genuine encouragement to use it. The automation watches the markets at night so people do not have to.
Small team, direct impact
You will sit close to decisions and see your work in the product within weeks, not quarters. Ideas are judged on merit, and client feedback flows straight to the people who built the feature.
Current vacancies
All listed roles are permanent positions. Unless noted otherwise, each can be performed remotely within Australia or from our Melbourne office, full-time, with paid annual leave and study support.
Client Onboarding Manager
You guide new clients from registration through their first strategy: verification calls, deposit assistance and plain-English explanations of how the platform works. We look for patient communicators with experience in financial services or client care. Background in trading is helpful but not required; curiosity is.
Risk and Compliance Analyst
You monitor strategy risk profiles, review transaction monitoring alerts and keep our onboarding and complaint procedures aligned with applicable Australian requirements. A background in AML/KYC analysis, audit or financial crime is expected, along with meticulous written documentation habits.
Platform Engineer (Data and Automation)
You build and maintain the market-data pipelines and execution services behind the automation: ingestion, screening models and the reporting systems clients read daily. Strong PHP or Python, comfort with message queues, and an instinct for graceful degradation under poor connectivity.
Support Specialist, Australian Hours
You answer client questions by email and phone during support hours: payments, withdrawals, reports and security settings. We value clear written English, patience with non-technical users and the judgement to escalate the three emails a week that genuinely need it.
Do none of these match, but you believe you would fit? Leave your details through the form above with a note about what you do best, and we will keep you in mind as the team grows.
