Moving money in and out, in Australian dollars

Worthamence supports the payment methods Australians already use every day: Visa and Mastercard cards, direct-entry bank transfer, and the Apple Pay and Google Pay wallets. Every standard method below is free of platform charges on both sides of the account. Timings are what clients typically experience; the exact figure for your transaction is shown when you confirm it.

Withdrawal methods

Payouts go back through the method you funded with wherever that is supported. Card returns route through the card scheme, which sets the final arrival date with your bank.

Payment method Type Fee Processing time Description
Visa Debit or credit card Free 1-5 business days Withdrawals can be returned to the Visa card you deposited with, where your bank supports it. Final timing depends on your card issuer.
Mastercard Debit or credit card Free 1-5 business days Funds can go back to the Mastercard used for deposits. Settlement runs through the card scheme, which sets the final arrival date.
Bank transfer Direct entry Free 1-3 business days Direct-entry payouts to your Australian bank account suit larger withdrawals. Most requests clear on the next banking day after approval.
Apple Pay / Google Pay Digital wallet Free Within 24 hours Withdrawals to a wallet-funded method are processed through the same card behind the wallet and usually complete within a day.

Deposit methods

Funding is instant by card and wallet. Direct-entry bank transfer is the cheapest route for larger amounts and clears on the next banking day in most cases.

Payment method Type Fee Processing time Description
Visa Debit or credit card Free Instant Deposits with a Visa debit or credit card are authorised in seconds. Some issuing banks add a 3-D Secure check for extra safety before the money moves.
Mastercard Debit or credit card Free Instant Mastercard deposits post to your trading balance as soon as the card issuer approves the transaction. Identity Check verification may apply.
Bank transfer Direct entry Free Within 24 hours Direct-entry transfers from your Australian bank account are the cheapest way to fund larger amounts. Funds are credited once your bank clears the payment, usually the same working day.
Apple Pay Digital wallet Free Instant Apple Pay uses the cards stored on your iPhone, iPad or Mac with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode, so deposits land without typing card numbers.
Google Pay Digital wallet Free Instant Google Pay works on Android devices with a screen lock. After authentication the deposit is processed straight away.

Verification comes first

Identity verification under our AML and KYC policy is completed before the first withdrawal, not the first deposit. Having documents ready typically saves a day.

Conditions in full

Limits, cancellation rules and the reasons a request can be held are set out in the withdrawal policy. Fees applying to trading itself are listed on the fees and pricing page.

Payment method availability can change with provider decisions. If a method you normally use is unavailable, your manager will suggest the closest free alternative with the same security standards.

How a withdrawal actually works

Four stages sit between pressing the button and money landing in your account.

1

You request

Choose the method and amount in the dashboard. The available balance and any pending settlement are shown before you confirm, so you never request funds that are still settling.

2

We verify

Identity and payment checks run automatically. A payout to a method you have used before is usually untouched; a first payout to new bank details triggers a confirmation step with your manager.

3

The payment moves

Card returns travel through the card scheme to your issuing bank, bank transfers through the direct-entry system, and wallet payouts through the card behind the wallet. Each rail has its own timetable, shown in the tables above.

4

You see it land

Your bank posts the funds to your account and the dashboard marks the request complete. If a rail is slower than usual, the request status says which stage it is at rather than leaving you guessing.

Amounts, minimums and timing

The minimum withdrawal is A$40; below that, processing costs more than the payment is worth. Deposits start from the Basic tier entry point of A$400. Requests entered before 15:00 AEST on a business day begin processing the same day; later requests begin the next business day. Weekends and Australian public holidays are not business days for any method, and card rails in particular settle only on banking days.

A withdrawal can be cancelled from the dashboard while its status is still pending, returning the funds to your available balance instantly. Once a payment has left for your bank or card it can no longer be stopped, the same as any bank transfer you send yourself.
